Scores, alerts, cluster rankings and AI output are analytical aids. They describe activity that has already been disclosed; they do not forecast returns.

Data sources

Insider and beneficial-owner activity is derived from SEC Forms 3, 4 and 5. Institutional positions come from Form 13F. Buyback and dilution figures come from periodic company reports. Congressional activity comes from statutory disclosure filings.

Trade date and filing date are presented separately throughout the product. A filing can lag its trade by weeks, and congressional filings can lag by longer.

Accuracy and corrections

We make every effort to keep the information on SpoorBase as accurate as possible, but errors may occur. Filings themselves contain errors, amendments and restatements, and data can be delayed, incomplete or mis-processed.

SpoorBase does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information on the platform. Any use of the information is at the user’s sole responsibility.

To report a discrepancy, send the ticker, filing date and the screen where you saw the value.

Calculated valuation multiples

Valuation multiples shown on price charts, including P/E, EV/EBIT, EV/EBITDA and P/FCFE, are calculated by SpoorBase from reported financial figures. They are not taken directly from company filings or a third-party provider, and may contain errors or differ from figures published elsewhere. Check the original filings before relying on them.
